Haven't used it with my children as of yet, but my husband and I are both impressed with what we have read so far.

These are great maps showing clear, concise boundaries along equatorial lines. My kids really enjoyed mapping Africa and felt a great sense of accomplishment when they completed the project! We are going to tackle Europe next - and then on to America!

I love Mapping the World By Heart! I am also teaching the Mapping the US by Heart section to teach 11 kids in our homeschool group. I would recommend this to anyone that wants their child (or themselves) to learn geography. We have lots of fun with it, while learning quickly and easily.

I have just started using this program with my 12-year-old homeschooling son. We both have enjoyed the "appetizers" and are excited to start on the "entrees". The appetizers were short lessons that really taught a great deal about mapping. We are about to start Mapping the U.S. I am excited about this since this program teaches more than I ever learned in school. I am so happy that this program is available.

With this program, you have suggestions for teaching and the tools to do it. I find, so far, that I like to incorporate other m...(more)

I love this program - it is very flexible to use as is or to add to it. I am using it for a high school group and adding physical geography to the beginning 6 lesson, and cultural and historical geography to the remaining lessons. Wonderful!

I love many of the ideas in this book, they have some interesting projects. The maps and the explanation of them are great. We haven't used much of it yet, but are incorporating bits and pieces of it as we go along. I love that there is no copyright on the maps so that I can make multiple copies and not worry about using the same map for multiple things.
Kelli Gowan, Co-op Member
Love it! I am forever amazed by the progress my son is making using Mapping the World by Heart. He has a much better understanding of the location of remote countries, and even some smaller details like rivers, mountains, etc. My son enjoys the tasks and seems to learn and grow with each lesson.

I purchased Mapping the World by Heart for my 11, 9, and 7 year old children. I love the concept of them being able to draw the world by heart. This year we have decided to focus on the section that leads you through drawing the US by heart. We have really enjoyed it and are so excited to reach our goal. I love this product but I think that's it important to note that it does not teach you how to draw the world. It does give you pointers and guides that help you figure out how to teach it to your family along with other information about e...(more)

I am truly delighted which this program. It written in a way that gives you both structure and freedom to help you either use their schedule, or go deeper if you like, with lots of tips and hints to help you get your creative thinking going.
Crystal Burnett, Co-op Member
We really like Mapping the World By Heart. Our Curriculum requires that the student be able to draw and label the World by the time they graduate. This will make that task so much easier. This is built into our memory work each week. My daughter (9) loves the different shapes or figures that are in the maps. She shares these with the other children. We will use this all the way through High School. I share this each time it comes up in conversation. It is a wonderful addition to our World History.
