What are the System Requirements?

Knowre is compatible on PC, Mac, Chromebook, and iPad 2+. The system requirements are below:

  • PC:
    • Operating System: Windows 7+
    • Browsers: Firefox 24.0+, Chrome
      Note: Knowre does not support IE or Edge.
    • Minimum Screen: 1280x768
    • Bandwidth: 1 Mbps per student

  • Macintosh:
    • Operating System: MacOS 10+
    • Browsers: Safari 4+, Firefox 24.0+, Chrome
    • Minimum Screen: 1280x768
    • Bandwidth: 1 Mbps per student

  • Chromebook:
    • Operating System: Chrome OS
    • Browsers: Chrome
    • Minimum Screen: NA
    • Bandwidth: 1 Mbps per student

  • iPad 2+:
    • Operating System: iOS 8.1+
    • Browsers: NA
    • Minimum Screen: NA
    • Bandwidth: 1 Mbps per student

What does the subscription price include?

Each subscription is for one student, valid for one year from the date you sign up for an account. Your child will have access to Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.

Is there a trial period?

No, Knowre does not offer a trial but members may request a refund within 14 days of purchase date. You can preview Knowre through their product video and check out sample questions on the website.

Is the program available outside the US?

Knowre is aligned to US standards and available in English only.

Do I have to download software?

No, Knowre is cloud-based, so you can access it anywhere you have internet access. For optimal experience, Knowre recommends using Chrome, Safari, or Firefox browsers using a laptop, desktop, or Chromebook. Knowre does not support Internet Explorer or Edge.

Is there a mobile app for Knowre for Homeschool users?

Yes! Subscribers can download the Knowre for Homeschool iPad app. Search "Knowre for Homeschools" in the App Store and students can login using their existing credentials. Your device must be iPad2 and later generations with a minimum operating system of iOS 8.1.

If I cancel my subscription, will I receive a pro rata credit?

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. After that period, we do not offer refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods.

How do I monitor my child’s progress?

You can log into your child’s account and view the progress reports for each curriculum. You can view achievement and progress for each chapter and lesson and click into each lesson index card to view performance by question.
