| Description: | Cross over the threshold of Wimberley Glass Works and behold a world of fantasy and craftsmanship, where beauty is defined at the tip of the blowpipe by the skilled team at Wimberley Glass Works. Born in the crucible and formed by hand, each unique piece of hand blown art glass is the result of the artisan's inspiration. There is no form so exquisite and no color as electric as the one formed by fire and pulled from the flames. Visitors are invited to observe the ancient craft of glass-blowing every day exept Tuesday. You’ll see the use of a variety of materials – even pure silver and 23 karat gold – to achieve the brilliantly colored designs displayed in the gallery. |
