The fish hatchery has been in operation since the early 1900's and is open for self-guided tours. There is also a visitors center with information and history of the hatchery. Raised here are brook and rainbow trout, as well as Atlantic salmon. You will love seeing all the fish, and there is a display pond of full grown fish that can be fed with pellets, purchased at a quarter for a handful.The property consists of 38 acres along the Hudson River located in the Town of Warrensburg. Aside from the Hatchery, these grounds offer 2 sheltered picnic areas with rest rooms, a children s play area and canoe access site, as well as a large open area for other activities. |
