Two Rivers is a wonderful, educational place to visit. Children can learn about wild animals by walking through the forest and observing them in large, natural habitats, and also by reading the information posted. They can even learn the Latin names of the animals, along with names in the local native Micmaq language. There are also farm animals to pet and enjoy, a U-fish pond, and wagon rides. Your children will also enjoy the playground, and you can pack a lunch and enjoy one of the many picnic areas. Special activities are held for things such as Groundhog Day and March Break, and a special New Year's Celebration is put on for children to participate in at noon on the last day of the year. In the winter, you can skate, coast, and cross-country ski.
Something to consider if you live nearby: you can buy a yearly family pass (2 adults, 2 children) for only $60.
