Facility:Touchstone Wildlife and History Museum
Description:Founded by the late Sam Touchstone, a local taxidermist, the museum is home to preserved American and African wildlife specimens that were donated by zoos and are exhibited in dioramas that were hand-painted by local wildlife artists. Children can get a fascinating close-up look at these animals. There are also history exhibits including Native American, Civil War, World War I, World War II, and Pioneer artifacts.
