I really like this refuge. They are really good about explaining their function and educating the children. They provide a great service.

It has been a couple of years since I personally have gone. But members of my family have recently, and they have high praise. When I went, it was a hot humid day. But even though I was sweating, the big cats were still a delight to see. Many of them were lounging, but well within view. The staff was wonderful, very informative and backed off when we just wanted time to gaze.

We recently visited the refuge and I was impressed. It was clean and well maintained even though we had just had major storms. The guide was well trained and informative. He provided information on each animal, the species specific information as well as how each was obtained and it's history. They obviously care about the animals and try to provide the best environment they are able.
