It was quite an eye-opener to see the amount of trash that gets tossed- we take so much for granted when we throw things away! It was fun to look for all the items in the scavenger hunt...and it's FREE!!! Our family was able to have some good discussions on how we can cut down on our trash and be more diligent about recycling.

This is a great place to visit at least once. There are different stations set up to teach about things like compost, recycling, how aluminum is made and the best part is watching the real recycling collection center at work. The kids could easily stay and watch for 45 minutes. You see the real people at work. Not to be missed.

I think they lost state funding and now charge a couple bucks to enter but its worth it and a great place to support. You won't look at your recycling the same.
