The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier has over 20 school programs to choose from to entertain, educate, and enlighten your students. All of their school programs are guided by the NYS Learning Standards and are available for purchase through BOCES. The goals of their school programming are simple: to provide programs that are engaging for students, content intensive for teachers, and manipulative rich for retention. Their programs are a great way to kick off or culminate a themed unit!

Very nice, clean, modern children's museum focusing on pretend play and science. Well worth the trip.

There is also a fantastic children's garden in the warm months, and the museum shares it's parking lot with the Binghamton Zoo.

There is a lunch room with space to eat and vending machines but no prepared food for sale.

This museum is alot of fun both inside and out. inside charges admission. outside is a play garden which is free. there's a nice snack room if you bring your own lunch.
