Facility:The Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Description:The Museum's permanent exhibits include a 3 million-year-old human ancestor, known as "Lucy," and one of the most complete mounted sauropods on display anywhere in the world. The Museum also features a planetarium; observatory; discovery center; live animal shows; and a wildlife center highlighting native Ohio flora and fauna, including bobcats, river otters and birds of prey.

This really surpassed our expectations. So much to see and do, it may take several visits to fit it all in. The Smeade Center is fantastic for younger kids, with tons of hands on exploration, including digging for fossils! We also loved the live animal shows and had lots of questions.
