The Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory tour is a great field trip if you are in the area. You can see the whole chip making process from unwashed potatoes to boxed chip bags. During the tour you walk down a hall and view the process through large windows. There are signs that line the halls that give interesting facts and tell about the chip making process.

At the end of the tour you are let out into the gift shop where each person can take 2 bags of small chips. The whole tour takes about 1/2 hour.

My kids have been on the tour several times and they enjoy it. It is a great field trip for families with kids of different ages as younger kids and older kids will learn and have fun.

We love the Cape Cod Potato Chip Tour. We do it every year. We find a new piece of information every time we go. The information signs are colorful and fun. You will find products that you con not find any where else. You can take as long as you like as you go down the hall. It is a worth while stop if you are in the Hyannis area.
