My family LOVES the Texas State Aquarium! The animal encounters are excellent...from petting a baby alligator, to feeding sea turtles, watching hawks soar, or even petting stingrays! There's so much to see and do without it being too overwhelming.

The aquarium is wonderful! My children absolutely love petting and feeding the stingrays and petting the sharks. If you will attend more than twice, buy the membership! We did and paid for it in two visits, plus you get 10% off anywhere in the aquarium. It is wonderful for really observing the marine life and learning from the employees who are happy to answer questions and help make your experience great! We live nearby, so we use it along with our marine science and the children choose any animal, draw it, find out 5 facts and write a report. We highly recommend going at a slower time like Mondays, so you can have more one on one time and not have to hurry through to give others a chance to see the exhibits. The splash park is a lot of fun for the kids as well. Don't miss the Texas State Aquarium!
