|Description:||The purpose of the Teaching Museum is to give students hands-on experience coordinated with classroom curriculum. The Museum provides students the opportunity to experience first hand that which was previously available to them through books. Students are encouraged to explore, to investigate and to question. The Museum also offers an important intergenerational opportunity for both students and community. It is anticipated that museum experiences enhance life skills and that life skills reward society with active knowledgeable, contributing members of our world.
