Very large collection of native species in a historic taxidermy collection. Great fro learning local fauna especially birds. Live animals including a beautiful bald eagle and an assortment of native birds, reptiles and fish. Prices are very low, next time we'll pay a couple extra dollars for the guided tour!

Great collection and since our last visit they have added more live animals and more hands-on activities.
Definitely worth asking for staff or volunteers, if you have questions. They are very short-staffed and sometimes there's no one to talk to unless you ask.
They've improved the signage a lot though so it makes a self-guided visit great too!

My kids love it and so do I.
