They have an awesome education program. With 10 or more students (homeschoolers are very welcome!) they will do a tour of the museum complete with story, books, and even items to enhance the experience like musical instruments, then there is a time in the "classroom" where the students participate in an art/craft making project led by the education person of the museum. Though the museum is small, it's the perfect size for small children (and mom) to not get overwhelmed. The museum is so friendly to everyone who visits and is so accommodating for those with special needs. I love this place and it is a great field trip!
