Sci-Tech Discovery Center provides hands-on discovery experiences in the essential areas of science, math and technology to kids of all ages and backgrounds. Sci-Tech Discovery Center seeks to spark a life-long interest and help equip our area's children with these advanced skills. We went to a homeschool class on medieval weapons. Liked that the kids made several take-home projects. Museum and class were pricey for what was involved. Kids liked putting on lab coats in the lab area. Cow eyeball dissection was incredibly gross . . . and the kids absolutely LOVED it. ;-)

We joined a science day camp (1 day a week for 5-6 weeks) and they were really geared towards smaller chilren. The exhibits were neat, and the shows were cool, but it was a lot of repetition.

My sons likes Sci-Tech. Almost every exhibit is hands-on, so he spends so much time on each. I like that it's rather small that I can let him enjoy each exhibit thoroughly without feeling rushed to see everything like at a big museum. Also, the people there are very friendly.
