 | Dawn, Co-op Member | We took 4 groups of students representing ages pre-K to high school to do 3 rotations of history presentations at Sahuaro Ranch. All ages enjoyed the visit and learned a lot about what life was like living on a ranch in Arizona at the turn of the century. The younger kids especially enjoyed hand washing and hanging laundry. The teens enjoyed the tour of the Adobe house. The elementary kids thought the blacksmith talk was interesting. The grounds are a lovely place for a picnic lunch. The playground at the park behind the ranch is a lot of fun too. |
