These audio clips contain fascinating information that may springboard you to further science investigation and learning.
Description:Just take a look at some of what's available from this month so far:
  • June 24 - Ants and Caterpillars - Sound and sweet excretions are ingredients for harmonious behavior between ants and caterpillars.

  • June 23 - Great Gull Island - A sound portrait of a nesting site for terns, surrounded - and sometimes attached by - thousands of breeding birds.

  • June 22 - Scandinavian Summer Solstice - History - The Summer solstice lightens the hearts of Swedish Americans.

  • June 19 - Natchez Pow-Wow - Drum circles and chant are part of the great tradition of Native American pow-wows.

  • June 18 - Hindukush Beekeeping - Honey Hunters - In the high cliffs of the Himalayas, colonies of bees produce prized honey - helping to sustain local ecosystems.
