He live near the museum and have been twice. The activities that the children get to participate in are amazing! My daughter got to get some curls in her hair with a real iron curler that was warmed by a flame. All my kids ground corn, played with toys from the pioneer days, sawed wood, watched a black smith, jumped in hay, milked a goat, sat in a pioneer style classroom, and did laundry! (I'm sure I'm forgetting some things...)

I love their little gift shop. The staff are very pleasant..oh, and I almost forgot about the wagon ride, that was fun as well.

We went with a group of homeschoolers for a field trip. My daughter went with the Native American tour and my son went with the Pioneer tour. They both loved it and enjoyed the craft they were allowed to make and take home. Both said they want to go again (ages 8 and 10 at the time).
