Facility:Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art
Description:Enjoy the elegant 19th century architecture and exciting contemporary art in seven exhibition galleries. Exhibitions feature notable Montana artists and examine the work of national and international contemporary artists who have made significant contributions to recent art history. Exhibitions explore issues and spark humor, using a sometimes astonishing variety of media. They also showcase the cultural and artistic diversity of the American Northwest.

In 1896 Paris Gibson, the founder of Great Falls, stood center as the building that would one day bear his name was dedicated as a school for only 46 students with immense promise of all who would come later. Now a nationally registered historic landmark, the structure served as Central High School and then as Paris Gibson Junior High before volunteers renovated the historic building as a center for contemporary art.
