Facility:Palace of the Governors
Description:Originally constructed in the early 17th century as Spain's seat of government for what is today the American Southwest, the Palace of the Governors chronicles the history of Santa Fe, as well as New Mexico and the region. This adobe structure, now the state's history museum, was designated a Registered National Historic Landmark in 1960 and an American Treasure in 1999.

Free Docent Tours are available daily.

Admission:$6 for New Mexico residents/$8 for non-residents, for one museum
$18 for a Museum Pass good for 4 days of unlimited visits to 5 museums
$12 for a one day pass for two museums - a combination of either Museum of International Folk Art and the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture or Palace of the Governors and Museum of Fine Arts
Free to Museum Members and children 16 and under
Free Friday Evenings, 5-8pm
Free on Sundays for New Mexico residents with ID
Free on Wednesdays for New Mexico Senior Citizens (age 60+ with ID)
