Twelve themed galleries feature underwater life at the state-of-the art facility located across the river from downtown Cincinnati at Newport on the Levee. The Newport Aquarium is home to thousands of animals in a million gallons of water.

K Borseth, Co-op Member Nice aquarium, we were expecting much as it seemed rather small, but we were surprised by all they had. Sharks, gators, penguins, amphibians and more.They even had a place for the kids to play. We spent 5 hours there and the kids had a great time. Jamie F, Co-op Member Upon walking in the door your senses are overwhelmed by the beautiful colors and sounds of the animals that await! They have several daily activities for children and larger events during the summer. The admission is a tad pricey especially for families with more than one child. They do offer a yearly membership which is slightly cheaper. Overall, it's a very nice experience for any age but maybe expensive for ongoing learning trips. Shannon, Co-op Member We have been to Newport Aquarium many times and we always enjoy it. Watching the sharks or the shark rays eat is a nice treat. My son's favorite part is petting the sharks.
