This is a really great museum!

We walked through what was open of the general museum, we saw some very interesting abstract art, photos of Nashville stars, and a room of paintings of Native Americans and scenery of New Mexico.

The kids museum is fun and interactive for all ages. There were two rooms of hands-on activities and a huge sound wall that lights up. That was amazing! My kids range from 3 to 12 and they all had a blast. I even got in on the fun. The fossil/dinosaur dig room was closed, we are hoping that it will be open the next time we go. The "town" was fun too. There is a newsroom, grocery store, house, fast food joint, a bank and a lot more. The kids loved putting on the different hats and costumes and pretending. There is also a baby/toddler play area for the wee ones.

The planetarium had an interesting solar system exhibit but unfortunately we were too early for the show.

We will definitely be going back soon!
