Description:Mount Rushmore is a granite sculpture by Gutzon Borglum. It represents the first 150 years of the history of the United States of America with 60-foot sculptures of the heads of former United States presidents (left to right): George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. There are many buildings on-site to enhance your visit, such as: the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center, the Sculptor's Studio, and the Audio Tour Building. They also offer a Jr. Ranger Program complete with certificate and the option to buy a patch.

Honestly, it seems unfair to "rate" such a beautiful, patriotic and historic site. So, in my humble opinion, it's just plain awesome! We return again and again.

The Junior Ranger program is always an great educational scavenger hunt.

Night show of flag ceremony brings tears to my eyes. Beautiful to witness such patriotism they call forth any service men/women to be acknowledged. It truly touched our heart to see so many heroes silently among us!
