The ongoing exhibition, The Mississippi Story, provides an opportunity for students to thematically explore the nuances and character of their state and its history.
The Mississippi Museum of Art promises a lively, interactive educational experience! The largest art museum in the State of Mississippi, the Museum is located in a newly renovated, state of the art facility in downtown Jackson.

Hands-on learning in our Closer Look Gallery - a unique educational space within the exhibition gallery itself where learning takes place much more differently than in the classroom.
Work with Museum staff to create the perfect visit - make your visit correlate to your lesson plans. Find out about ways you can prepare for your Museum visit through advanced reading, lesson plans, and printouts for the kids.
