This museum is a comprehensive view of natural history. The exhibits are varied, and the detail is quite educational. The price is reasonable, and they do offer group rates if your homeschool group wants to take a field trip together.

The Milwaukee museum is great! I always enjoy going, and so do the kids. The Streets of Old Milwaukee area is one of my favorites, where you get to peek into buildings of yesteryear, and you can stop at the candy shop and buy candy! I also love the Old European area, where you get to peek into the homes of different ethnic cultures. The rest of the museum is also interesting, but it can really be more interesting if you get the museum membership and then the kids get to do scavenger hunts through the whole museum! It is great fun and makes you look at things you never would have seen otherwise.

We loved it so much that we became members. The streets of old Milwaukee are our daughter's favorite, but we also like the portrayal of different cultures on the upper levels. Another favorite is the rainforest set up , with sound effects and plenty of visuals.....Large museum that you can spend an entire day in, plus great IMAX movies!
Enjoy!
