Facility:Mennonite Heritage Village and Museum
Description:This is a great place to take the whole family. There are a few special times each year where the entire campus turns back the clock and it's like walking through a village of yesteryear. A sod hut, blacksmith shop, one-room school house, old church, housebarn, summer kitchen, outdoor oven and other buildings are available for touring. One of the highlights is getting a close up look at the only working windmill in Canada. Spring and summer programs are chock-full of interesting activities and events. Fun for all ages and a nice place to go because you can go each season and there are different things to see and do. For example in the summertime there are outdoor old fashioned games, old tractor shows, old-time music bands and all sorts of fun activities! Not to mention there are yummy things to buy and eat as well!
