While we have not participated in an organized homeschool or educational outing we have gone on our own as a family and would return a million times over. It is gorgeous here and plenty of space to run and play. Lots of areas to pick out a picnic as well. The best parts for us were feeding the coy (sp? - and they are HUGE!) and watching the geese as well as the children's garden. The first time we went we did not even know about the children's garden but stumbled on it the next year. Here there is plenty of sparks for imagination, education and more. There are little amphitheaters, areas for music, physical play, animal and plant interaction and so much more. It's hard to list it all. We definitely had fun here and would recommend it any day. I just need to remember to pack that picnic.
