This is a field trip for EVERYONE! The youngest and the oldest will find something they love. The IMAX is pricey, but if you're interested in the subject, it's worth it!
Take your time and do it all!
They also have very reasonable party rates. We had a party there last month. We were allowed to play for 5 hours with all of our friends, then given a personal class about rockets before our party in our own party room. All of my 'guests' were given free admission and free parking.

This is a family favorite. Not only do we enjoy getting to visit the regular exhibits, but the special events throughout the year add to our family's enjoyment. We have made a tradition of visiting the holiday train displays and taking grandparents with us.

My kids are younger, so we enjoy Itty Bitty Magic city and Just Mice Size with the younger one, and there is plenty for my curious early elementary son to enjoy at every visit. We always stop by the dinoaur dig exhibit to "look for bones," and the shark and ray petting tank is another favorite. We also enjoy getting to participate in the different educational offerings that happen throughout the day. In these we have gotten to pet some interesting animals and see others up close, and we made Mommy's hair stand on end with the van de Graaff generator.

Parking is easy, picnic lunches are allowed in the eating area downstairs, we've even had friends join us for a birthday party at McWane. We are so thankful for this resource in our area!

Highly reccomended for kids (and adults) of all ages.
