The Log Cabin Village is a great learning experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the one room schoolroom. I was the teacher for the day. The kids just loved it. You can take guided tours or walk around by yourself. They also have summer one-day camps. Our girls loved it. They dressed up in period time costumes. They were taught how to make candles and how to make thread from cotton. The people there are tremendously knowledgeable and very helpful through the tours. We've been three times and just love it.
