Great big, handicapped-accessible nature center AND smaller original little red schoolhouse have exhibits, live animals, and educational play area. The trails are terrific too, leading from nature center, past the pond, into the woods, around the lake. The only downside, is I believe there is nowhere to picnic or purchase food, so plan to eat elsewhere. One of our favorite "get out into nature" trips.

This is one of our favorite places to visit. I went as a child and they have made so many upgrades since then. There is a large nature learning center with hands on learning activities, and plenty to see and do. Then you can venture to the old school house for a history lesson, and sometimes they have volunteers there that will tell you about the animals. There is a wonderful nature trail where you are sure to see wildlife. There are points to stop and read that provide more in depth knowledge to the natural environment. We really love to go here, and every time is a new experience.
