Hours:All buildings are closed to the public on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The Madison and Adams buildings are closed all other federal holidays.

Recently I chaperoned a group of high schoolers to tour with a docent. He was fabulous once he realized that the kids knew art, literature, and history. As we walked, he asked them questions and then would continue by telling historical facts and added stories/legends. The library is beautiful and full of history!
