Description: | Lake Houston Park is a 4,986 acre wilderness park approximately 30 minutes north of downtown Houston. It has a great little nature center that conducts various programs. One of its main presentations is a snake exhibit. The park also offers overnight camping, either in tents or rental cabins and has trails for hiking and bike riding. You can even bring your horses and ride through their equestrian trails. |
