We went here for my daughter's 4th birthday. It is in the little downtown area of Frankfort where my husband grew up, so we thought it would be fun to visit. We had a bit of trouble finding it because it is at the back of a little indoor shopping plaza and there is a front door to get into the plaza, but I was expecting to see a nice sign out front, but that wasn't the case. This area is very nice a quaint though.

This is a 2 story children's museum. Not big by any means if you are used to big children's museums, but there is plenty to do and easier to keep track of kids as long as you are all on the same floor. One of the features upstairs was the stage with some dressup stuff. They also had one of those dark rooms where the light flashes and you see your shadow left on the wall. The kids spent a lot of time doing that.

My son was telling me the other day that he would like to go back sometime. It is a 3 hr drive for us though, so not sure that is in the plans right now. If you are already in the area, it might be worth a visit but I wouldn't make a long trip just to come here mainly because you will be done in a couple hrs. That would be perfect though for those people who live close by and would like to stop in.
