I'd like to give this one two ratings: It's a 5 star place for little kids, especially those who don't mind noise. It's just not a place for the whole family if any of the kids are over 7.

The exhibits are geared towards the preschool set, and the largest single area is actually reserved for toddlers. There is an excellent water play area where kids can assemble pipes, squirt gears, build dams, and use water jets to ring chimes. A cab of a semi-truck for kids to climb in is a favorite with young boys. Many of the exhibits generate noise, and moms may leave with a headache. Food, snacks, and emergency supplies are readily available in the mall.

We have bought memberships to this museum in the past to take advantage of homeschool enrichment classes they offer. While we enjoyed the classes, the museum itself gets boring for kids over eight. It's fun to see it once in a while if you're a school age child, but the novelty of this small museum wears off for older kids.

This place is great for kids under 6. Once my kids turn 6, they are more interested in the pet shop across from KidsQuest. I have several kids so my older kids usually bring a book to read in the tree house while I play with my youngest.
