The Insect Zoo is an incredibly unique field trip destination. As with all field trips, I feel organizing it so it can be led by a staff member is the best way to go. The KSU Insect Zoo makes this easy - all you have to do is call. During the tour, staff will show the group all kinds of bugs and talk about characteristics and traits of each one. We've been able to hold walking sticks, watch a praying mantis devour its prey, and pet a tarantula!

The Zoo is full of fun and interesting exhibits. Our favorites are the leaf-cutter ants and the honeybees.
