Facility: | Irish Hunger Memorial |
Description: | Memorial to the events leading the Great Irish Famine of 1845-1852. The memorial is situated on 1/2 acre overlooking the Hudson River. A passageway leads through a tunnel lined with quotes about contemporary world hunger issues.
