Facility:InterActive Neighborhood for Kids
Description:INK is a hands-on Children's Museum where children can role play and learn through practical experiences about being a banker, grocery store clerk, doctor, dentist and much more. All exhibits are designed to provide a unique experience and to actively engage young minds (not to mention, it's just plain fun!).

Reasons why we love INK:
1-The first Tuesday of each month (not sure about during the summer - call for verification) is homeschool day. When you identify yourself as a homeschooler, each paying guest gets a 50% discount.
2-You can bring your own lunch & eat it in the lunch area.
3- You can leave & come back the same day on one admission.
4-There is a variety of interactive activities/play areas, including a playground, vehicles you can get in (police car, firetruck, airplane), and "shops" (including the doctor, dentist, cafe, bank, etc).
5-There are lots of benches for mom & dad to sit & relax while kids play.
6-I think it is a good value.

This is a great place for children ages 3 to 8 or 9. There are two options for fun. There is a pottery making area at the front entrance where you can choose your piece, paint it, and then they will fire it and give you a date for pick up. The main activity at this location is of course the interactive neighborhood. The town containes:
A little people area for little toddlers
A Stage w/ dress up clothes for performances
Grocery Store w/ boxes of food/fake produce/grocery carts and a check out station.
Bank w/ ATM for depositing and withdrawing
Restaurant/soda shop
Dentist office
Doctor's office
Animal hospital
Fire and Police cars
Court room
Classroom
Farm Area/milk a mechanical cow
Air plane
Hand's on building blocks/legos room
Play ground
All in doors with lots of props.
The best time to go is early in the day before everything gets a little displaced.
I love it for taking another mom w/ child so we can chat while out children play.
There are lots of park benches along the way for sitting and chatting as well as an area to eat lunch. Play time is about 2 to 4 hours depending on your child's attention factor. They offer home school day on the first Tuesday?? of every month and you all get in for half price. As of 2013 the price for entry is $8 per person except on home-school day it is only $4.

The museum is geared towards visitors ages 2 - 12. I would place the ages closer to 2-10. Except for the INK's Paint-Your-Own Pottery Studio. For an additional cost, you and your child can paint your own pottery no experience required.
They also offer birthday party packages.
They also have special events, like the Red Cross Pillowcase Project, special craft days, 1st Tuesday is Homeschool day, (with proof of homeschool you get in for $5.00 (2017). Be sure
to check the event calendar before going.
