This is a small enough zoo that you won't get too tired walking around and you can see most things easily in 3 hrs. They just added on a new area called Africa that has giraffes, rhinos, zebras, lions, and some other animals.

Other animals you will see are several types of lemurs, spider monkeys, meerkats, sea lions, farm animals, tortoise, capybara, black swans, emu, camel, fish, birds, turtles, and several others.

They have educational programs that you can advance register for with a fee. They have a snack shop and a gift shop. They occasionally have presentations on different animals.

It's worth a visit to getting a chance to see a lot of animals but not have to get worn out to do it. It's open all year round and occasionally they will have free days or free weeks. If you have a membership to another zoo, you may be able to get into this zoo for free (check your membership details).
