The Planetarium shows here are excellent. They offer many different shows that are open to the public in the evenings, and will schedule homeschool field trips based on availability.

We went to their annual Star of Bethlehem show last year one evening and it was fascinating. If interested, buy tickets well in advance because it sells out. After the show, the kids were able to roam the facility and view the various reptiles, fish, crustaceans, amphibians, and small mammals that they had there. Some of the staff even let the kids touch the animals.
