We go to the FW Children's Zoo several times per year. It is a great zoo that is well designed and kept. The new tiger and lion exhibits are great! Definitely a great place to spend the day and not run out of things to see and do.

hard to see it all in one day.

I love how easy it is for the kids to see and see close. many zoos are hard for young kids to see. my kids were pulled in a stroller and still could see everything and commented on it all.

there's a petting zoo part too.

my daughter fell and skinned her knee, when she cried an employee came running over with a first aid kit and he called another employee who disappeared in the other direction. by the time my daughter had a bandaid on her knee the 2nd employee was back holding a stuffed animal. He gave it to her and she still talks about how the stuffed animal healed her knee.

the zoo has picnic tables outside and lots of food inside. my children have extreme allergies and are allergic to everything available to eat at the zoo. I called ahead and asked if I could bring food in. I was told yes and was told which restuarant to go to and to ask for the manager and he would heat up food for us. So we ate at the restaurant and my kids had their food heated up there as well.

amazingly helpful!
