A new page opens with a picture or photo and text that explains what was happening in that part of the world during that era.
The simplicity of this site is its brilliance. You won't find lots of bells and whistles - just information about events of historical significance throughout the world.

It's a great way to get an overview of what was taking place worldwide at any given time.
