Dinosaur World is great fun for young and old alike. Well maintained trails meander through large dinosaur displays complete with fairly detailed information on each one. The fossil dig is like a mini treasure hunt for a budding paleontologist. There are covered picnic tables and a very nice playground. Members of Florida Parent Educator Association (FPEA) get in at a discounted price, I don't know if they offer a discount for other homeschool groups but it's worth asking. This is also a very nice location for a kid's birthday party where they don't shoo you out after 2 hours. We have visited the Florida park often and they also have a very nice teacher's guide online.

It was just at the right level for my advanced 6 yo. Many life-sized models with a label giving a small amount of information about that particular dinosaur, a chance to dig for real fossils and keep them, a dinosaur dig in sand, a small museum and a playground to run off some energy.

They are also expanding!

I will be going back until my younger kids are beyond it.

My girls (age 6 & 7) really enjoyed Dinosaur World! They loved roaming the trails and "finding" the dinosaurs amongst the foliage. They took turns reading the informational signs aloud. They also enjoyed digging for fossils and uncovering the Dinosaur bones (I think this was their favorite). Most of the play area was closed off while we were there (early April 2011) due to an upgrade, but I know they would have enjoyed all the dino-themed play equipment. The store has tons of dino-related items available (I saw items for as little as 50 cents!).

Love the interaction and video on demand. I would recommend it as a field trip.

While reviews were mixed for this place online, we LOVED it. If you're looking for a Disneyworld experience, this isn't quite it. But if you're looking for fun and education, this is exceptional. You have a large park to walk through and explore, with life-size dinosaurs scattered throughout the park. There is a regular museum with a decent amount of fossils and information, which is on-par with a small museum. as well as two dinosaur-themed playgrounds. The playgrounds are slightly more fun than a really good public playground. Everything is well-kept and clean.
