While the building itself isn't much to look at, the history behind it was enough for us. We made a day of our visit and saw the tree under which the State Constitution was drafted, civil war battlefield and other sites in Corydon. The tour of the capital building was interesting. You have to plan on taking the tour because the building is locked up. We had just finished our Indiana study so this helped my boys put a place to the facts that they had learned.
