The Chicago Botanic Gardens is a wonderful field trip for all ages. We frequently come here on nice days just to take a walk in a beautiful setting. My children are fascinated by the Japanese and Confer Gardens. They also learn so much by comparing what changes from month to month.

They also offer wonderful field trips for homeschool groups at all ages.

Beautiful scenes. Not really the greatest for kids who are still learning to walk. Most of the roads are cement/stone. I would even go so far as to say it's not entirely stroller friendly? The kids area is a nice hike from the main area as well.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenes and will probably return when our kids are a little older.
