Facility:Cavanaugh Flight Museum
Description:The Cavanaugh Flight Museum restores historical aircraft and related aviation memorabilia and places it in it's museum for educational purposes. WWI through Vietnam wars are represented. The museum also has civilian aircraft and vintage cars on display. Learn about the history of each aircraft and how they were utilized. They have aircraft and artifacts in four hangers and an art gallery. The mechanics and volunteers are eager to answer questions and share their knowledge about these amazing aircrafts.

We visited this museum recently and were treated to an in-depth talk about their B52 Bomber. The docent was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly to our homeschool "quirkiness." Actually all the museum staff were very willing to talk and share what they knew about the beautifully restored aircraft.
