Facility:Burt's Farm
Description:Come experience the fall season at Burt's farm in the secluded North Georgia Mountains where the only thing more beautiful than the fall foliage is the sea of orange created by thousands of Burt's pumpkins. At Burt's farm they have pumpkins that range from an eye popping 150 lbs. to a modest 1 lb. One of the most fascinating features of Burt's farm is the impressive selection of every type of pumpkin, winter squash, gourds and fall decoration. Indian corn, cornstalks and hay bales are also in never ending supply at the farm. They also offer hayrides and fieldtrips pulled by their John Deere tractors that take you through a winding trail filled with nature and beauty.

Visit their very own Johnny Pumpkinseed in person to help tell the growing process of pumpkins. Who would know growing pumpkins better than Johnny Pumpkinseed? Field trips are accepted by reservation only. The trip to the farm consists of an educational demonstration from Johnny Pumpkinseed, a breathtaking 25-minute hayride, a sugar pumpkin, and a coloring book about Burt's Farm. The cost is $5.00 per person. For classes of 20 or more, 1 teacher goes free. After the hayride your children can pick their own sugar pumpkin to take home. These pumpkins weigh 5 to 8 pounds. There will be literally thousands to choose from.

I am so excited to see that this is on here. Our family absolutly LOVES Burts Farm! Ever since we found this place a couple of years ago it has been a yearly vist for our family. The kids love picking out their very own pumkins. We get them in all shapes and sizes. From little bitty to very large. I would recommend this for everyone.
