|Facility:||Brown Palace Hotel|
|Description:||The Brown Palace Hotel is the second oldest hotel in Denver, but it's main claim to fame is the long list of dignitaries and celebrities who have graced the establishment since its inception. Originally designed in an Italian Renaissance style, complete with an atruim, the hotel was later expanded and features a variety of architectural styles, all completed with a sumptuous air of elegance. According to its website, every president since Theodore Roosevelt has stayed at the hotel over its long history with the exception of Calvin Coolidge. A variety of themed tours are available.
Although the guidelines stipulate that children must be aged 10 or older to participate in the tour, the hotel is quite accomodating to multi-age homeschool groups.
