|Description:||Visit displays depicting years of railroad history in Central Kentucky, then board train coaches built in the 1920s and 30s to steam through six miles of horse farm country. See what travel was like in the hey-day of railroads before air travel and interstate highways. Interactive displays include a working telegraph set that visitors can use to send Morse code messages and operable train headlights.|

|Hours:||Grounds are open daily.
Museum gift shop and display car are open every Saturday and Sunday from June 2nd until October 28th. The gift shop and ticket office hours are from 1:30 P.M. until 5 P.M.
The museum excursion train operates on Saturdays and Sundays from June 2nd to October 28th at 2:00PM.

Fares for the train ride are as follows

Senior Citizens (62 and over): $8.00
Children (2 thru 12): $7.00
Children under 2 are FREE
Locomotive Cab rides: $25.00
