Facility: | Billings Estate National Historic Site |
Description: | Visit the historic estate of one of Ottawa's founding families and learn the impact the Billings family had on the city's history. They settled on the shores of the Rideau River in 1812 and helped build farms, an early Ottawa bridge and a timber business. School Programs are offered Tuesday to Friday during the months of May, June, September and October. All programs are available in both French and English.
